FRIDAY: Theatre thriller at the Questors
Climb aboard for this darkly comic, captivating thriller by internationally renowned playwright and actor Arnold Ridley.
Originally staged in 1925 in the West End, this fresh revival of Ridley's classic play is described as 'tantalising and suspenseful in equal measure'.
Standard tickets are £14, members £7 and member guest £10.
Under £16/full time student are £7, concession £12 and Questors Youth Theatre and Student Group students go free.
The performance will be on from 12 to 20 November, daily at 7.45pm (excluding Mon & Sun) and Sunday at 2.30pm.
SATURDAY: Ealing Church concert A performance of Fauré Requiem and other works is coming to St Peter's Church in Ealing this Saturday. The classical concert will feature three of Fauré's shorter works: the evergreen Cantique de Jean Racine, the less familiar Tantum Ergo op. 55, and a choral arrangement of his seminal Pavane. The orchestra will also perform two works by Lili Boulanger, a prodigiously talented pupil of Fauré, who became the first female composer to win the prestigious Prix de Rome in 1913, although she suffered ill health throughout her life, and died at the age of just 24. Joined by Baritone, Robert Davies and Soprano, Alice Gribbin, the accompaniment will be provided by an orchestra of strings, horns, harp, organ and timpani. The Requiem has been described as "in many ways the perfect music for our time". Taking place this Saturday, 13 November at 7:30 pm, St Peter's Church, Mount Park Road, London W5 2RU. Tickets are £17, £15 concessions or £5 for under 28-year-olds. Find out more hereSUNDAY: Remembrance Sunday services in Ealing
