BRITISH Transport Police have released an image of a girl they believe could help with a hate crime investigation at Ealing Broadway station.

Officers are asking the public if they recognise the person in the image, who may have information in connection with the incident.

The crime occurred on-board a train just before 5:30pm on Thursday 6 June.

The victim was seated on-board a service when a girl boarded the train.

The girl was playing with her friend, pushing one another other closer and closer to the victim who responded by saying, "do you mind".

An argument between the victim and the girl ensued before the girl racially abused the victim.

Officers believe the person in the image may have information which could help their investigation.

If you recognise her, or have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 250 of 14/06/21.

Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
