Pastoral Support Assistant Ealing Are you a compassionate graduate looking to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a Secondary School in Ealing as a Pastoral Support Assistant, where you will play a key role in supporting the wellbeing and development of students. This role is perfect for a graduate eager to make a positive difference in students lives while gaining valuable experience in pastoral care. Pastoral Support Assistant Job Summary:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs
  • Assist in promoting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour in the school environment
  • Work alongside the school s pastoral and SEN teams to deliver effective support and interventions
  • Full-time position starting immediately through to the end of the academic year
  • Monday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm
  • £480 £520 per week, paid weekly on a PAYE basis
Pastoral Support Assistant About You:
  • A graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree, ideally in Psychology or a related field
  • Passionate about supporting students and promoting positive mental health
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to form strong relationships with students and staff
  • Previous experience in a child-centred role or school environment is advantageous
