Schools Performance and Intelligence Manager Location: Ealing Salary: £55,155 - £57,201 per annumEaling Council Plan 2022-26 sets out their ambitions for a borough. They are embarking on a journey to transform the way they work to achieve the council's ambitions using the best data and insight. A key role in helping them achieve this is the role of Schools Performance and Intelligence Manager. The Role Enhance the council's ability to collect and add value to data to support services, Performance management reporting, statutory returns, research, forecasting and high-quality analyses across several education and children's service areas, Identify areas for action with a particular focus on service improvement and planning, Plan and deliver business intelligence products such as dashboards and bespoke performance analysis to drive operational decision making and service improvement, Build excellent relationships with partners including council colleagues, the Ealing Learning Partnership (ELP), Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), the Department for Education (DfE), neighbouring local authorities, Ealing schools and more, Manage, lead, and develop a team of analysts.This role is based in an established team of performance and data analysts working on education, special educational needs, social care and broader outcomes for children and young people, with whom you will work closely.Many of the services the team support are returning to in person working in the office and in their schools, there is therefore a need to attend in person meetings, as part of a hybrid working model with an average of 1 - 2 days a week in the office (Perceval House, Ealing Education Centre and/or other council offices as needed), as part of this role. Skills and Qualifications You will need excellent IT skills including MS Excel, SQL and PowerBI (or similar) and must be experienced in the use of case management systems for reporting in a social care, SEND, education or similar contexts. You will have excellent analytical skills, a strong eye for detail and be able to produce complex statistical analyses, and forecast models, and communicate the findings in reports and presentations. You will need to be a confident communicator and excel at working in partnership with colleagues across a wide range of services, at all levels.
