Exhibition Talk – Ealing’s 1970s Wasteland

A talk to accompany an evocative exhibition of black and white photographs documenting an important but often forgotten part of central Ealing's history. The exhibition comprises about 40 photographs of the clearance of The Grove area community prior to the construction of the new town centre. They are taken by Ian Cole, a photographer who was living in Ealing at the time. His talk will be about the photographs and also some of the views expressed over the years leading up to the redevelopment.
