Church demolition goes wrong and collapses onto neighbour's garden in South Ealing

A CHURCH demolition has gone wrong and has collapsed onto a neighbour's garden in South Ealing.

At round 2:45pm on Tuesday, April 27, Living Hope Church on Junction Road collapsed and 'destroyed' the neighbouring house's garden, filling it with debris.

A YOUNG Black woman has described being stopped and searched at 13 years old and being handcuffed to the ground with 'six guns pointing at her head' at 15, as her major experiences of the police growing up in South Acton.

Ami Kourouma, a youth commissioner on Ealing's Race Equality Commission shared her ordeals as part of the inquiry's public meeting looking at crime and justice in the borough on April 22.

Nandor Balogh was last seen in Southall on April 23 at 8:45am.

CAMPAIGNERS are aiming to raise £20,000 to support a legal challenge to stop the sell-off of Ealing's Victoria Hall.

The Friends of Victoria Hall group wants to overturn the scheme approved by the Charity Commission on how to govern the Victoria Hall Trust, which campaigners say will allow the largest public space in central Ealing to be 'lost to the community'.

TRANSPORT for London commissioner, Andy Byford, has reportedly set himself the goal of getting the Elizabeth line open by Christmas.

According to the Evening Standard, the TfL boss is trying to make sure the long overdue Elizabeth line can open slightly ahead of the latest estimate.
