ACTON Cinema is currently offering Lifetime Founder membership for film lovers in the area.

Set to open its doors this September, the independent cinema is inviting members of the public to be founding members in its creation.

Acton Arts Project, who are behind the renovation of the old Acton Library, received planning permission back in September 2020 to turn the building into a pop-up cinema, bar and cafe.

Perks of founder membership include, 6 free tickets per annum and exclusive invites to screenings and gala events.

Membership will also help establish and maintain the cinema, cafe/bar and gallery space.

The café and bar will be run by local traders, which will help financially support the cinemas opening until the project becomes financially viable.

Annual memberships - with some concessionary options - will be launched later in September.

Acton Arts Project was formed by residents in 2018 with the aim of maintaining the former library in the High Street as a community hub.

If you are interested in becoming a Lifetime Founder member email Peter for more details at [email protected].
