• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in social housing properties, including water supply, drainage, heating systems, and sanitary fittings.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in a timely and effective manner, minimizing tenant disruption.
• Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and malfunctioning systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify and rectify potential problems.
• Complete all necessary documentation, including work orders, timesheets, and job sheets, in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with tenants to arrange access for plumbing work and provide updates on progress.
• Maintain a professional and respectful approach when working in tenants' homes, ensuring minimal disruption and upholding a high level of customer service.
• Work collaboratively with other tradespeople, managers, and the wider maintenance team to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and maintain plumbing tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring they are in good working condition.
