Cpl are delighted to be working in partnership with a prestigious client, who's mission is to help provide support and care to vulnerable young people and to help them prepare for their future to live positively and independently.

Your role will be to support and manage the staff team to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people. To undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate. To ensure each shift is planned and resources allocated. To work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people. To offer supervision and support to staff in line with Quality Standards and as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager.

In addition to this, the ideal candidate will have (but will not be limited to):

  • Undertaking direct work with young people and acting as an appropriate role model
  • Maintaining accurate written records both to record information and enable regular monitoring and evaluation to take place

Previous experience working within a children's home is essential while having an NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or eqivalent is also required - if you are currently working towards it then that is ok.

Having experience with EBD, mental health issues and learning disabilities is preferred.

You must have a valid Right to Work in the UK - unfortunately my client can not provide sponsorship.
