Company Overview: Our client is a leading provider within the FMCG industry, committed to delivering excellence in all aspects of our operations. As our client continues to expand, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Bias PPM Shift Maintenance Engineer to join the dynamic team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Bias PPM Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within our facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks on electrical systems and equipment according to schedules.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and carry out repairs as necessary to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, identifying potential problems and implementing solutions proactively.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to coordinate activities and optimize maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment condition.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, controls, and PLCs.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults using relevant testing equipment and techniques.
  • Familiarity with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) processes and methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring quality and reliability in all work.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations) would be advantageous.
