ROLE OVERVIEW

As the leader of the entire team, this role involves overseeing various functions within the management structure, including:

1. Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, and Assurance (HSEQA)

2. Engineering workshop operations

3. Commercial and administrative tasks

Responsibilities include monitoring and ensuring customer service standards, adherence to quoted prices and lead times, and meeting contractual obligations such as Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and providing progress updates on quoting.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will:

• Assume responsibility for all aspects of Health and Safety (H&S)
• Manage workshop facilities, site service teams, and commercial/administrative functions.
• Generate accurate forecasts regularly.
• Monitor staffing levels, overtime, skill sets, and workforce flexibility to align with customer requirements.
• Possess technical expertise in DC motor repairs and coil manufacture.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of manufacturing in the engineering industry.
• Have a robust background in service delivery.
• Exhibit proficiency in service metrics and a history of continuous improvement.
• Show demonstrable experience in H&S.
• Understand operational requirements and constraints.
• Effectively plan activities and projects, anticipating potential changes.
• Apply specialized technical knowledge and develop strategic plans.
• Take accountability for actions, projects, and personnel.

WORKING HOURS

Monday to Friday: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Weekly hours: 40
