Job Title: Electrician - Electrical Site Temporary Works

Location: North West London

Overview:

Spencer & James, in partnership with a family owned Main Contractor, are seeking a dedicated Electrical Supervisor, with experience on Site Temporary Works, to supervise operatives on site and take responsibility for ensuring health, safety and compliance is adhered to.

Key Responsibilities/ Duties:

• Supervise a team of Electricians ensuring work is carried out to company and client standard.

• Coordinate and motivate the site Electricians

• Provide outstanding customer service, promptly addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate effectively with Electricians and management to enhance productivity and maintain high-quality work standards.

• Adhere to company rules, regulations, and dress code policy, treating all stakeholders with respect.

• Proactively manage materials and equipment, ensuring timely procurement in alignment with project needs.

• Mentor and train temporary employees and apprentices as needed, in accordance with company policy.

• Maintain relationships with management, addressing concerns and issues following company protocols.

• Ensure compliance with business requirements for quality recording, benchmarking, testing, and audits related to electrical work.

• Report accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly, following company guidelines.

• Complete and update relevant paperwork for the role, utilizing project-specific documentation.

• Conduct electrical activities on site, adhering to company procedures, standards, and industry best practices.

• Ensure all work activities have approved Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) in place before commencement.

• Pursue additional training as required, meeting CPD, legislative, and contract requirements.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (Essential)

• City & Guilds 18th Edition (Essential)

• ECS Card (Essential)

• Experience as an Electrical Supervsior (Essential)

• Experience carrying out Electrical Site Temporary Works (Essential)

• 2391 Electrical Testing & Inspections (Desirable)

• SSSTS (Essential)

• SMSTS (Essential)

• Full UK Driving License
