EdEx are working with a 'Good', modern Secondary School based in Ealing. The Headteacher is keen to hire an Unqualified Learning Support Assistant for SEN to support young people with additional needs including ASD, ADHD, SpLD, SEMH needs and more.

This Unqualified Learning Support Assistant for SEN role involves supporting pupils with SEND/SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis, as well as assisting class teachers with delivering core subject material such as Maths, English and Science. This is the ideal role for those looking to pursue a career in education, psychology, sociology, social work, mental health support work and more!

Unqualified Learning Support Assistant for SEN- Job Description

  • Working in an 'Good' Secondary School
  • Based in Ealing
  • Supporting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
  • January 2025 start
  • 30am - 4pm
  • Monday - Friday only
  • Term-Time, Long-Term and Full-Time position
  • 105 - 110 per day
  • Working across KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Monitoring the progress of pupils and assisting children of various ages and abilities

The Ideal Unqualified Learning Support Assistant for SEN

  • A graduate with strong academics across the board - GCSEs, A-Levels and Degree
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous school-based experience working with students with SEN
  • A drive to inspire the younger generation and make a difference
