Are you a compassionate, kind SEN teaching assistant? Do you have experience with British Sign Language? If so, keep reading!
SANZA Teaching Agency are seeking an SEN teaching assistant who experienced with British Sign Language to join a wonderful special needs school in Ealing.
The role will be working in a phase one class. The candidate will need to have some form of British Sign Language qualification.
You will be required to fulfil general SEN teaching assistant and learning support responsibilities throughout the day and support students as required. There is a student who is hearing impaired, so you will need to be able to support their communication and learning through British Sign Language.

The school caters to students aged from Reception to Year 14 who have moderate to severe and complex learning difficulties as a primary need or as a dual diagnosis to their medical, sensory and/or physical needs.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will
- Have recent experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant
- Have a sound understanding of the impact of hearing impairment on learning
- Demonstrate competence with BSL British Sign Language
- Promote effective, inclusive education for SEN pupils
