Music Teacher

Tradewind recruitment are working with an outstanding secondary school based in Ealing who are currently looking for a Music teacher.

School are looking for someone to start from January 2025 on a long term contract until July 2025. School are willing to offer a permanent contract for the right person.

This position is full time but school are open to part time applicants. Working hours are from 8:30am to 4:00pm.

Salary will match inner London MPS/UPS.

School has available parking spaces.

Music Teacher :

• Offer strong teacher subject and pedagogical knowledge.
• Engage in helping students develop knowledge of music theory and its application
• Enable life-long skill development and practical skill application
• Play a key role in fostering a positive and safe environment, while challenging students to reach their full potential
• Embrace and support the ethos of both boarding and day school life

The aim of the Music department is to provide all students with a wide range of experiences, skills and knowledge that prepares them to intellectually and creatively interact and succeed in our ever-changing world. We strive to instil a respect for traditions within the Arts and encourage exploration of innovation in performance and creative work.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A relevant degree
• Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Approachable and encouraging
