Police are trying to trace the whereabouts of 16-year-old Leena

POLICE are appealing to the public for help in their search for a 16-year-old girl missing from home.

Leena lives in Haringey but police have reason to believe she might be in the Ealing area.

Concern for her wellbeing is increasing amongst police and "her family is desperate for news".

The police are urging anyone who has seen her or who knows her whereabouts to call 101 quoting 22MIS026451.

In a statement the Met said: "Help us find Leena, 16, who is missing from N17 & may be in the Ealing area.

"Officers are increasingly concerned for her wellbeing & her family is desperate for news that she is okay If you have seen Leena or know where she is please."
