Berkeley Brass present a short early evening recital featuring a wide array of genres, from the entry of Queen Polymnia from Rameau's masterpiece Les Boréades, Debussy's Suite Bergamasque (known for its famous 3rd movement Clair de lune), to the Land of Oz, in Arlen's Somewhere Over the Rainbow. The recital concludes with Gershwin's masterpiece Porgy and Bess, in a brand-new arrangement which includes the ever-popular Summertime, I Got Plenty o' Nuttin, Bess You Is My Woman Now and It Ain't Necessarily So.
