A young footballer from Dagenham held a kick around with Queen's Park Rangers Women in support of Macmillan Cancer Research.
Niamh, 13, hosted the kick around following the R's FA Women's National League game against Ipswich last weekend at the Powerday Stadium in Ealing to help highlight Macmillan's Coffee Morning which is coming up this Friday.
The issue is of particular importance to QPR defender Ailish Carolan, as two of her uncles have previously been diagnosed with prostate cancer and were supported by Macmillan.
She said: "I know how important Macmillan Cancer Support is to people after they get a cancer diagnosis.
"I think Macmillan do amazing work and I'd encourage everyone to consider hosting a coffee morning."
The Macmillan Coffee Morning is an annual event which brings people together to raise money to help those living cancer, and last year over £1 million was raised by such events in London.
Niamh spoke about how she had helped with the cause in the past: "We hold a coffee morning every year at our school, all the students bring in cakes to sell and raise money for Macmillan.
"Hosting a coffee morning is a great way to raise money for people living with cancer, and you can even host a coffee morning with your sports team."
Emma Tingley Macmillan Head of Partnerships for London & South East said of: "Macmillan relies almost entirely on public donations to support people living with cancer.
"That's why it's never been more important to host a Coffee Morning to ensure Macmillan can continue to deliver the services that people living with cancer in London desperately need."
"One in two of us will face cancer, and the money you raise at your Coffee Morning will help everyone with cancer to live life as fully as they can."
