Events coming up in Ealing
Friday lunchtime: The Ealing Mile
If a marathon sounds monstrous and a 10k equally terrible, the Ealing Mile might be the event to make a runner of even the most ardent of lifelong walker.
Held in Lammas Park on the first Friday of each month, the Ealing Mile offers a friendly and fun lunchtime run on a traffic-free course.
Register before 10am TODAY to take part.
Friday & Saturday: Hanwell Hootie
That's right – the renowned music festival makes its return to Ealing THIS WEEKEND .
To mark its 10th anniversary it's set to be bigger and better than ever, with a ticketed event on Friday evening as well as the traditional, free day from 1pm until late on Saturday.
We'll see you there.
Saturday: A Midlife Migrant Crisis
Head to Questors Theatre on Saturday for a satirical look at migration and asylum, with Sudanese-Dutch satirist Mohammed Terwis playing a middle-aged actor in crisis as the realisation dawns: he is performing to an audience who cannot speak his native language.
Performed in Arabic, with English subtitles, A Midlife Migrant Crisis is an intelligent production that shows how to explore sensitive themes with humour and be all the more powerful for doing so.
Sunday: Eva Willer-Andersen Exhibition
While we can't guarantee you'll get to meet Dr Kiko, the sun-loving dachshund of acclaimed artist Eva Willer-Andersen, if you head to her latest exhibition we can guarantee a kaleidoscope collection of work that any blank, white walls in your home would wear with aplomb.
Head to Felix & Spear on St Mary's Road (near Lammas Park) on Sunday between 12-3pm for your weekend dose of Modern British / Post War / Contemporary art.
Watermans Arts Centre is the Ealing Nub News What's On sponsor. Without community-minded partners like Watermans we would not be able to produce the locally-relevant, clickbait-free news to the people of Ealing.
