THE STORY GAME (6+ YEARS), Watermans

Andrew Barnett Jones has made up stories for loads of top TV shows including The Amazing World of Gumball, Mr Bean: The Animated Series, Dick'n'Dom's Diddy Movies and Diddy TV, Dennis the Menace and Gnasher, Shaun the Sheep, Diddy Movies, The 4 O'Clock Club and The Slammer. 

Today he's going to tell you a story – but he has no idea what it is. No title, no characters, not a single word in his head. Instead, with your help, he'll be playing The Story Game, creating a hysterically funny, wildly creative story from a handful of words, a roll of the dice and his own roller coaster imagination. 

If you've ever wondered where writers get their ideas from, now's your chance to find out – and once you've seen him in action, you'll be inspired to use his simple, practical methods to play the Game yourself and make up your own madcap stories!

Star of CBBC's The Slammer in a wide variety of wigs, winner of the Children's Choice Award for Funniest Voice and previous holder of the Crick Crack Club's Grand Liar's Trophy making him officially one of the biggest liars in the country (honest!), Andrew is known to thousands of theatregoers across Great Britain for his previous improvised storytelling shows Professor Bumm's Story Machine and Fairly Tales.

King's Coronation Bunting Competition Exhibit, OPEN Ealing Arts Centre

To celebrate the King's Coronation Make It Ealing businesses invited local schools, community organisations, and members of the public to submit artwork to to be made into bunting. The quality of the submissions were incredibly high and showcased a diverse range of art styles from a variety of ages.

Based on these entries we picked a theme, and selected artwork that best fit that theme to be printed into bunting that will be displayed inside businesses in the Ealing Broadway town centre. Selected artwork include entries from Christ the Saviour, Ada Lovelace, Grange Primary, and Villiers High School. Selected artwork also include entries from individuals as well as the Ealing Cub Scouts. A full list of all the selected artwork will be available below shortly.

In recognition of the calibre of art that we have received, all entries will be will be displayed at OPEN Ealing from the 5th of May to the 18th of May 2023. Please see below for a detailed list of opening times:

Over the Kings III Coronation weekend The Brentham Club is opening it's doors to the community and have 3 fun days of celebration.

Saturday 6th - Watch Kings III Coronation at the club (11:00-15:00) - Enjoy afternoon tea

Sunday 7th - Outdoor Street Party Vide - (12:00-16:00) Hog Roast, Hot Hogs, Burgers, Music

Monday 8th - Family Fun Day - (12:00-16:00) Enjoy the land and come together with the community
