  • Manage the performance management reporting, statutory returns, and user research for the SEND service,
  • Use a range of sources and analytical techniques to produce high-quality analyses and reporting,
  • Identify areas for action with a particular focus on service improvement and planning,
  • Plan and deliver business intelligence products such as dashboards and bespoke performance analysis to drive operational decision making and service improvement,
  • Develop insight and business intelligence tools to support improved services aligned to the Council's ambitions,
  • Support the development and embedding of an insight and intelligence culture through the council.

This post sits within a large, centralised Strategy, Performance, and Intelligence Team. The role is based in a team of performance and data analysts working on education, social care and broader outcomes for children and young people, whom you will work with closely.

You will need excellent IT skills including MS Excel and PowerBI and must be experienced in the use of case management systems for reporting in a social care, SEND, education or similar context. In addition, you will have excellent analytical skills, a strong eye for detail and be able to produce complex statistical analyses and communicate the findings in reports and presentations.
