Art Teacher (maternity cover)

They are seeking a Teacher of Art to start ASAP to plan, deliver and develop the art curriculum and enrichment activities. They role will include teaching some textiles and the planning and preparation will be supported by the Art department.

The purpose of this role is to:
- Enhance the Council's ability to collect and add value to data to support great services and hear from the people that need and use them,
- Manage the performance management reporting, statutory returns, and user research for the SEND service,
- Use a range of sources and analytical techniques to produce high-quality analyses and reporting,
- Identify areas for action with a particular focus on service improvement and planning,
- Plan and deliver business intelligence products such as dashboards and bespoke performance analysis to drive operational decision making and service improvement,
- Develop insight and business intelligence tools to support improved services aligned to the Council's ambitions,
- Support the development and embedding of an insight and intelligence culture through the council.
This post sits within a large, centralised Strategy, Performance, and Intelligence Team. The role is based in a team of performance and data analysts working on education, social care and broader outcomes for children and young people, whom you will work with closely.
You will need excellent IT skills including MS Excel and PowerBI and must be experienced in the use of case management systems for reporting in a social care, SEND, education or similar context. In addition, you will have excellent analytical skills, a strong eye for detail and be able to produce complex statistical analyses and communicate the findings in reports and presentations.
