Teenager taken to hospital following Walpole Park stabbing

AN 18-year-old man has been rushed to hospital after he was stabbed in Walpole Park.

According to MyLondon, police and paramedics were called to the scene on Mattock Lane near Walpole Park at 12:50am on Friday, July 2.

Members of the London Ambulance Service assessed the victim's injuries which were deemed not to be life-changing and took him to the hospital.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "He was conveyed by London Ambulance Service to a London hospital where his condition was deemed as non-life changing.

"A crime scene was put in place in Walpole Park, W5.

"There have been no arrests.

"Enquiries continue."

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen what happened to call 101 and quote the reference number 291/02JUL.
