EALING Police have broken up a 40-man brawl involving swords and bottles in Southall.

Officers were called in the early hours of yesterday morning – Sunday, January 17 – to King Street.

Officers managed to arrest two men on St Johns Road, both in their 20s, on suspicion of violent disorder and affray, after being identified as being the ones carrying swords.

They both currently remain in police custody.

Despite the dangerous weapons, there are no reported injuries following the mass brawl.

Police are appealing to anyone with any information to call 101 and contact reference number 136/17JAN.
