A NEW gym and sports hall at the centre of Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub will open its doors for the first time next week.

On Monday, April 12, government restrictions are easing, allowing gyms to reopen their doors for the first time in over three months.

The new gym will use pioneering technology that will see equipment light up to help you make the most of your workout.

There will be a colour system around the gym floor which will indicate which zone you are in, with specific zones for beginners who are looking to build up their confidence.

Eight new floodlit tennis courts, two floodlit 3G artificial grass pitches, grass pitches for football, cricket and rugby, and even a fishing pond are also part of the wider sports hub.

The sports hub at Gunnersbury Park was built last year by Ealing and Hounslow councils, which jointly own Gunnersbury Park.

It will be operated by Better and will be open from 6:30am-10pm on weekdays and 8am-8pm on weekends.
