AN Ealing resident will be competing for the Miss England crown after winning the Miss London title last year.
Jessica Kang, 26, lives in Hanwell and works as a HR systems officer for Ealing Council.
She was crowned as Miss London last May and is due to be competing for the Miss England crown next month, after it was postponed last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The competition will take place on June 24 in Coventry, with the winner getting to represent England at the Miss World finals in Puerto Rico later this year.
There are multiple rounds as part of the Miss England competition - talent round, sports round, bare face top model round and an eco-queen round where contestants are invited to create an outfit made from recycled materials.
Also new to the contest this year is the explore the nation round, where contestants will be meeting virtually to promote their home towns, in order to help bring tourism to the local area.
Finally, members of the public are invited to vote for who they think should be crowned Miss England as part of the publicity round and Jessica is asking for your votes.
The 26-year-old beauty queen said: "I'm so excited but nervous at the same time too.
"The competition was delayed last year so it's been a long-time coming and I honestly can't wait.
"I'd be so grateful for all your votes to help me win, as my ultimate dream is to represent England at the Miss World competition and compete for the world title."
To vote, download the Miss England app for free and you can start voting for your favourite finalist.
