Detectives investigating a fatal stabbing in Ealing have made an arrest.

Police were called late on Saturday (23 July) to the Star & Scorpion pub on Uxbridge Road where a man had been stabbed.

Despite the arrival of medical services, the 58 year old man died at the scene.

On Sunday, 24 July, a 58-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He was taken to a west London police station where he remains in custody.

Police say their enquiries continue.
