A man has been arrested for cultivation of cannabis in Ealing following a visit paid by local police teams earlier today.

Metropolitan Police officers from Greenford Broadway, Northolt West and Perivale this morning (Thursday, July 21) executed a warrant at a cannabis factory on the Lime Trees estate.

In a post on social media, the Greenford Broadway team shared pictures of vast amounts of cannabis being cultivated in the factory as well as a stick with knives attached in a seemingly homemade weapon.

The brief Tweet wrote: "This morning @MPSGreenfordBwy, @MPSNortholtWest & @MPSPerivale executed a warrant at a Cannabis Factory on the Lime Trees estate. One male arrested for Cultivation of Cannabis."
