The Elizabeth Line is part suspended as part of a walk out by Prospect and the Transport Salaried Staffs' Association (TSSA) workers.

The part of the line which goes through Ealing (Southall, Hanwell, West Ealing, Ealing Broadway, and Acton Main Line) is not the section which is closed, but it will cause disruption across the line.

Between Paddington and Abbey Wood is suspended as part of the strike which is impacting Abellio Buses in South-West London throughout the month.

This strike will continue to suspend this section of the Elizabeth Line up until 9am on Friday 13th January, from that point normal service should resume.

TSSA and Unite, the workers unions involved in this strike, rejected a 4% pay increase for 2022 and 4.4% for 2023 and described the offer as "unacceptable".

Unite regional officer Guy Langston said: "The travel disruption caused by these strikes is entirely the fault of Abellio's leadership for acting in such bad faith. The company must come to negotiations and put forward a pay offer our members can accept."

There are three more scheduled strike days this month from workers, on the 19th, 25th, and 26th January.
