An Ealing woman has designed a Christmas card with the aim of raising funds for the Ealing Wildlife Group , in order to replace their trail cameras that were stolen.

The Group had trail cameras set up to watch local badgers and owls, but these were recently stolen.

As with any technological equipment, these are not cheap to replace, so Victoria Williams, 43, a member of the group has taken it upon herself to raise as much money as she can to help out.

She told Nub News: "I've been a member of the Ealing Wildlife Group for about three years now and I love what they do, so I wanted to help out."

Williams, who works as an encyclopedia and academic reference books writer, is selling her cards on Etsy, as due to the national lockdown, markets and shops aren't open.

"I've been designing and selling Christmas cards for four years now, mainly at markets and shops, but this year I've had to rely entirely on Etsy, but so far it's going great," she added.

Ealing Wildlife Group President, Sean McCormack spoke to Nub News and said: "We're delighted so many of our wonderful members have donated their time, talent and skills creating wonderful Christmas gifts and crafts to raise funds for Ealing Wildlife Group.

"From handmade wildlife themed face masks at the start of lockdown, to screen prints and now Christmas cards, we are so grateful for these donations."

Individual cards cost £3.20 including postage, but you can also buy a pack of four for £10.
