A drama school based in Ealing is looking to fill its last few spots once lockdown is lifted on December 2.

Frenzy Drama School Ealing & Greenford is run by Taja Morgan, 23, who set up the branch in 2018.

Morgan teaches two different age groups: 5-11 year olds on Friday evenings and 2-5 year olds on Saturday mornings.

Morgan herself got involved with drama at the age of six and once she finished her Theatre Arts degree from Middlesex University, she decided to set up the Ealing & Greenford branch of Frenzy.

The 23-year-old told Nub News: "We help children improve their confidence, social skills and language acquisition by learning through play."

With the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic however, classes had to be moved online, something which according to Morgan is less than desirable.

"Having classes in person makes a massive difference, the kids are much more involved, it's difficult to get them to engage through a computer screen, they need to feed off your energy."

Classes were then allowed to re-start again in September, with strict social distancing and hygiene rules in place, but a second lockdown has now forced Frenzy to resort back to Zoom.

Morgan is optimistic that the lockdown will be over in two weeks and is already planning ahead.

"We're looking to fill our last few spaces and are hoping to move to a bigger venue in January," she said.
