Ealing Broadway has revealed its "jam packed" schedule of entertainment for summer, including a programme of live music.

Running in Town Square as part of Ealing Broadway's Summer Live programme, shoppers can enjoy a variety of live entertainment with new acts taking to the stage every Saturday, from noon until 5pm, and Sunday, from 11am to 4pm, until Sunday 3 September.

Andrew Rollings, centre director at Ealing Broadway, said: "We're thrilled to announce our new Summer Live event schedule, and we cannot wait to see family and friends coming together to sit back, relax and enjoy the tunes at Town Square."

Acts include professional sets from solo artists, bands and local community groups, as well as buskers and performers specially selected by Hanwell Hootie, who have collaborated with the centre to present new artists with soul-boosting tunes every weekend.

"We're always looking for fun and exciting ways for our visitors to make the most of the summer fun and enjoy a big day out at the centre during the school holidays," Mr Rollings added.

Brand new for this year, Ealing Broadway has opened up the stage each Wednesday until Friday to give local talent the opportunity to step into the spotlight. It is set to welcome a variety of artists, from breakout spoken word performers and dancers to musicians and choirs. For more information about applying, visit Ealing Broadway's website.

Each performance is free of charge, with visitors invited to support Ealing Broadway's local charity partners, Young Ealing Foundation and Ealing Foodbank, via contactless donations at their resident Giving Box outside Tesco.

Little ones and their families can also enjoy the turf and sandpits in Town Square, which offers a safe, soft place to play. A wave of stunning butterfly decorations, produced in collaboration with MakeitEaling, have also transformed Town Square and Oak Road.

Ealing Broadway will also be streaming live sport, including the Women's FIFA World Cup, on a big screen at Town Square every day this summer.
