Ealing Broadway has extended its free school uniform shop to help families get essential items ahead of the new academic year.
A previous "resoundingly successful" event was held in July, with thousands of uniform pieces donated by the local community.
Andrew Rollings, centre director at Ealing Broadway, said: "We are over the moon by the sheer quantity of items donated at our Uniform Shop in July. So much so that it has inspired us to extend the event and help as many families as possible during the back-to-school season.
Open until Friday 1 September while stocks last, the shopping centre is inviting visitors to collect a selection of good quality school clothing and sportswear to help prepare their children for going back to school.
The free uniform shop is open every Thursday and Friday from 10am until 4pm, opposite Smiggle. It allows visitors to take a maximum of four items and there are no extra donations or payments required.
Last month, Ealing Broadway's Uniform Shop event saw more than 2,500 school items donated, including shirts, jumpers, trousers and dresses. It saved thousands of clothes from landfill and meant they went to good homes instead.
"Community and sustainability are key priorities for us at Ealing Broadway, and it's great to see that our local community feels the same way," Mr Rollings added.
