W4 Youth, Brentford FC Community Sports Trust and Rocks Lane Sports Trust are partnering to host a community fun event this weekend.

The organisations will be hosting football matches and basketball skills sessions on 30 September from midday onwards at W4 Youth Hub in Southfield Recreation Ground, W4 5LD.

W4 Youth is a community youth project for 11-19 year olds in West London. Set up in 2009 the group is now based in Southfield Recreation Ground, W4 for all its activities.

Working in partnership with Brentford FC, Brentford FC Community Sports Trust offers a range of programmes in education, employability, sports participation, health and community engagement.

Rocks Lane Sports runs an all inclusive sports facility and programme reaching out to all sectors of the community.

Sally Chacatté, W4 Youth Founder and Chair, said: "Partnering with Brentford FC Community Sports Trust and Rocks Lane Sports Trust we'll be in the park sharing our progress on the W4 Youth & Community Centre and asking for feedback from our community on activities you'd like to see in the park going forwards.

"Brentford will be running football matches alongside some basketball skills training. We hope to see you there."
