The car park behind Perceval House will close temporarily from Thursday, 20 June until Friday, 12 July 2024 so it can be transformed into the count centre for the election.

Ealing Council say some parking bays along Longfield Avenue will also be suspended, and signage will be on display to make motorists aware of where these are.

Alternative parking is available at Springbridge Road Car Park, W5 2AB.

Charges vary from 90p to £1.80 per hour (depending on your vehicle's emissions) – all day parking on Saturday and Sunday is permitted for the same price as three hours and one hour respectively.

It is free to park in this car park after 6pm every day. The car park is open from 7am to Midnight each day – please be aware it is locked overnight.

Additional town centre parking is also available in on-street pay and display bays and other nearby council car parks including Arden Road Car Park, W13 8RP.

The General Election takes place on Thursday, 4 July. Every resident who is a British, Irish, or Commonwealth citizen aged 18 or over, and registered to vote, can have their say.

People who are not on the electoral register have until Tuesday, 18 June to register. Those registered to vote at the recent GLA Elections, and who still live at the same address, will be automatically registered and do not need to apply again.

Those that have changed address since then, or who are registering for the first time, should go to www.gov.uk/register-to-vote where they will be asked for their name, address, date of birth and national insurance number.

The full list of candidates running for Ealing Central & Acton can be found here.
