Our top pick for this week is a pumpkin carving workshop at the Hobbayne Centre.

Fancy carving a pumpkin in a fun and friendly environment in Hanwell this Saturday?

A pumpkin carving workshop has been organised by the charity St Mark's PSA, as a fun activity to get in the Halloween spirit.

Money from the event will go towards supporting the West London state primary school St Mark's.

Tickets are £5 and include a pumpkin for you to prepare and carve and then take home to scare your neighbours.

There will be free tea, coffee and squash at the event, with spooky bakes on sale too.

Hilary Jimenez, one of the event organisers, said: "It should be a really fun afternoon.

"We've got lots of ideas, templates, tools and help on hand to make your pumpkin design.

"So you can come along and leave with a masterpiece - and we'll do all the messy clearing up!"

You can book one of the following sessions, for £5 per pumpkin:

1pm - 2pm

2:10pm - 3:10pm

3:20pm - 4:20pm

4:30pm - 5:30pm

Come along this Saturday, 30 October to the William Hobbayne Centre on Lower Boston Road W7 2EY.
