Everlasting Cake

"It's never too late to dream"

Nothing ever happens at Sleepy Brook Home for the Elderly. The 'inmates' eat bland food, sit in their usual armchairs, and try to avoid their callous carers. That is until new resident Janet dares to challenge the status quo. When she and her roommate Elsie discover a recipe for a magical 'everlasting cake', the residents get a taste of freedom and the chance to achieve their long-forgotten dreams.

This new play by Dan Dawes gives its elderly characters a new lease of life. Crackling with comedy, fantasy, and a soundtrack of jazz, Everlasting Cake is a recipe for success.
