Indian Football Tournament 2024.

Nikhil Vadhera and his close friend Akash Patel started this tournament back in 2022 with the aims of promoting South Asian grassroots football whilst raising money and awareness for MIND charity which is a charity very close to our hearts.

They have raised over £6300 across the past two tournaments.

The previous iterations have seen 24 teams come down each year, with players from all faiths and background, to Cranford School for a world cup style (group stages and knockout) tournament.

FA referees will be conducting all games on the day.

Sponsors and organisers include local businesses such as: Right At Home, Rapture Barbers, Prince of Wales, Triple S Catering, Farm Pizza + many more!

In the past couple years, it has provided either food/drink to be sold on the day or a monetary donation which has gone towards subsiding the costs of the tournament.

The organisers say: "For IFT2024 (29/06/2024), our vision is to not only grow the existing men's tournament to 32 teams but to also run a female only tournament alongside the male tournament on the same day!

"As we know, female football has really taken off in recent years but from a grassroots perspective we'd love to contribute to the success of it."
