A trio of first half goals sees Hanwell Town get back to winning ways as they beat Yate Town 3-1 at the Powerday Stadium.
The Geordies got off to a rapid start and for the second consecutive midweek game were 3-0 up at the break thanks to goals from Dwayne Duncan, Isaac Olorunfemi, and Mat Mackenzie.
Yate did pull one back in the second half as Zac Drew scored directly from a free-kick, but Hanwell held on for a comfortable victory.
Hanwell have now won three of their last five as their return to form continues and they are five points off Poole Town in the play-offs.
The Geordies started quickly and after four minutes Kain Adom wriggled beyond a defender to get into the box and prodded the ball towards the back post for Mackenzie, but he failed to make contact.
Yate had an early opportunity of their own as Leighton Thomas played a quick one-two to get into space, but he dragged his shot wide of the post.
Olorunfemi got down the side and dug out a cross to the far post, where Tom McElroy had to quickly reposition himself to get something on it, but his shot looped up and Martin Horsell tipped it over the bar.
The Geordies won a corner after 16 minutes and it was whipped into the middle where Duncan met it with a towering header to open the scoring.
Adom burst down the side and got to the by-line where he cut the ball back to the waiting Olorunfemi, and he stroked the ball first time into the corner of the net.
Just after the half hour mark Adom continued to cause problems off the dribble as he got beyond his marker down the side of the box and struck across goal and forced Horsell into a strong stop to deny him.
After 35 minutes Adom slipped a ball in behind the Yate back line for the run of Jack Hutchinson, he took a touch and squared it for Mackenzie to roll home.
Just before half-time a Hanwell corner is not properly cleared by Yate and the ball drops to Anthony Cheshire, and his fierce shot whistles over the bar.
On the hour mark Yate pulled one back as the substitute Drew took a free-kick from a deep position, aiming for the far post and it went beyond everyone and found the back of the net.
As Yate pushed for a way back into the game late on, a free-kick was easily cleared and Hanwell scampered away on the counter through Adom and he powered a shot just wide of the upright.
