A woman has died following a house fire on Carlyle Road in Ealing earlier this month in the early hours of the morning. 

The London Fire Brigade have confirmed on Thursday 20th April that a woman from Ealing died in a fire on Carlyle Road in the early hours of 5th April. 

The cause of the fire remains under investigation as it is still not known. 

A woman had been rescued from the building by firefighters wearing a breathing apparatus from the ground floor of the property and was taken to hospital, where she later died. 

The Brigade were called at 6.01am and three fire engines and 15 firefighters from Ealing, Acton, and Chiswick went to the scene and had brought the fire under control by 7.09am.
