It is results day for GCSE, BTEC and other level two students across the borough.
St Benedict's School
St Benedict's students, staff and teachers celebrate an "excellent" set of GCSE results for 2024.
The Ealing school say it has "once again achieved excellent GCSE results this year."
64.8% of exams were graded 9 to 7 (A*/A) with nine students achieving straight 9 to 8 (A*) grades, 'reflecting the positive academic upward trajectory.'
Headmaster, Joe Smith, reacts: "I am very pleased with the GCSE results which our Year 11 students have achieved this year.
"42.5% of grades were 9 or 8, which represents a slight increase on last year's outcomes.
"My congratulations to the young people who have achieved these excellent results, alongside contributing to the school in a myriad of other ways over the course of the year.
"I wish them well for their future studies, be it at St Benedict's or elsewhere."
Ark Acton Academy
Ark Acton Academy pupils made "great progress" this year and results in all subjects were "strong."
Arunthun Kanthan and Adrian Chung were Ark Acton's highest scoring GCSE students across the board, each achieving seven grade 9s (equivalent to seven A*s).
Vice Principal of Ark Acton Academy, Matt Gray, says: "They are a pair of uniquely focused and ambitious young people, and they thoroughly deserve their success.
"We are excited to watch their continued academic excellence at A-Level and beyond."
Other standouts from the Acton school were students Veronika Vytvyska, Wiktoria Hojan and Lara Sant Anna Sgarzi De Oliveira who joined Ark Academy in 2023 speaking "little or no English."
Mr Gray continues: "They achieved 25 GCSEs between them including 5s and 7s (B- and A-) in English and English Literature. This is a credit to their incredible hard work and strength of character over the last year."
William Perkin C of E High School
William Perkin C of E High School GCSE results this year are "over the national benchmarks at every level" and students hit "very high" academic targets which the school has set for them.
40% of pupils at the Acton school achieved grades 9-7, 77% grades 9-5 and 88% grades 9-4. Nationally 22% received grades 9-7, 52% grades 9-5 and 67% grades 9-4.
Three students at the school attained eight or more grade 9s with Fenna Opara achieving 10 grade 9s and a Distinction in Additional Maths.
Associate Headteacher, Amy Newman, comments: "I am delighted that William Perkin has continued to support students to do their very best across all subjects including the traditional EBAC and STEM subjects in which we specialise, and also a wide range of creative and practical options such as Music, Art and PE.
"It has enabled our students to access a wider range of courses post-16. I would pay particular tribute to our staff team who have made this a possibility."
Featherstone High School
Featherstone High School in Southall had a number of standout students impressive GCSE results this year.
Stand out students:

On a national level, schools minister Catherine McKinnell said results are expected to be similar to last year, roughly in line with pre-pandemic levels.
