1. Play in a Week (age 5-10) - The Questors Theatre

Questors Theatre gives children the opportunity to create a play in a week (credit: Questors Theatre).

About: Questors Theatre say: "Using props and costume as our starting point, via games, group activities and individual acting challenges, we will work to create an entirely new play based on the group's ideas for characters and stories.

"A performance for an invited audience of friends and family will take place on the final day."

2.Memory Cafe - Right at Home

Join Right at Home Ealing, Hounslow, Hammersmith and Fulham for its memory cafe (credit: Right at Home).

About: Right at Home's memory cafe is a place of welcome for individuals with Alzheimer's or any other form of dementia and their carers.

Free games and activities on the day.

When: Monday, 12 August. 11am - 12:30pm.

3. The Art of Art Deco - The Arts Society Ealing

About: The Arts Society Ealing say: "During the morning, we will enjoy two lectures.

"The first will celebrate the Centenary of the Paris Expo. Held in 1925, 16 million visitors witnessed the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts, which played a fundamental role in the new style that we know as Art Deco. 

The second lecture will discuss Art Deco being the most glamorous and popular style of the 20th century.

"Prevalent during the 1920s and 1930s, we will learn about the development of the Art Deco style through objets d'art and architectural buildings in the UK and beyond.

"Our lecturer is Pamela Campbell-Johnson who lectures at the  Royal Academy and has worked for Bonhams, the Art Loss Register and the National Trust.

When: Wednesday, 14 August.
