A SOUTHALL drug dealer has been sentenced to four years in prison after getting arrested twice in just over a week.
Maninder Brar, 23, of Hayes was first arrested on August 19 2020, after officers stopped a vehicle on Kingsbridge Road in Southall, after witnessing what they believed to be a drug deal.
The officers stopped and detained Brar, and found £845 in cash on his person, before a further search at the police station uncovered 50 wraps, containing both heroin and cocaine.
He was arrested for possession with intent to supply and released under investigation for enquiries.
Only eight days later, on August 27, officers on patrol on Blythe Road in Hayes witnessed what they believed to be a drug deal taking place.
One of the officers recognised Brar from the previous offence and as such, the vehicle was stopped.
Brar was detained for a drug search, with £1,010 in cash found on his person, along with 25 wraps of crack cocaine.
The case was heard at Harrow Crown Court and on May 14, Brar was sentenced to prison.
PC Self of the West Area Violence Suppression Unit, said: "Brar was responsible for the supply of a large amount of drugs to our streets in Southall and Hayes.
"He was brazen enough to commit a serious offence twice, which he has ultimately been caught doing and has been imprisoned for.
"Dealing Class A Drugs is a serious offence owing to the fact it is a major cause of drug related violence that can result in murder."
