THE sister of murdered Ealing schoolgirl, Alice Gross, has exhibited her artwork about the 34 days her sister was missing.

Alice was only 14 when she went missing on August 28, 2014 and her body was found on September 30, 2014 in the River Brent.

Her sister, Nina Gross, had an exhibition last week at the Espacio Gallery in Shoreditch, titled 34 Days Missing .

Examples included drawings she had done to represent each day her younger sister was missing.

Gross told Nub News: "The feelings caused by doing the artwork come and go like roundabouts.

"It's very intense because it brings back lots of memories, but at the same time, the physical act of stitching is distracting and calming in a way."

The exhibition was part of Gross's two-year art course at City Lit College in Covent Garden and took her about a year to complete.

Gross, who grew up in Hanwell, recently moved to Chichester, where she continues her work as a private tutor, helping kids with science and maths lessons, but will also continue to pursue her passion for art.

The artwork is now available to see online HERE for anyone that missed the exhibition.
