RAMEN restaurant Kanada-Ya will be one of the first to join the Ealing Filmworks development.

Ealing can soon sample "London's most authentic & loved ramen", as the Japanese ramen group brings its signature dishes to the borough this December.

The new venue will be located on New Broadway and will mark the restaurant's first site within a purpose-built development.

It promises to bring a greater array of drinks, including cocktails using Japanese ingredients and a wide selection of beer.

Kanada-Ya Ealing will seat 60 covers with 14 additional spaces outside, featuring an open plan kitchen and be open for dine-in and take-away.

Kanada-Ya UK director, Aaron Burgess-Smith, said: "Ealing is well placed to accommodate an authentic and respected ramen restaurant and we're looking forward to serving the sizeable Japanese community in and around the area."

Burgess-Smith said they were excited to be part of the Filmworks development and to build relationships with the residents and neighbouring businesses.

Kanada-Ya will be one of the first restaurants to join Filmworks.

The development by St George is in the old Empire Cinema, an art deco building on New Broadway, Ealing.

It consists of 209 homes, a Picturehouse cinema and a central piazza with shops, restaurants and bars - with flats ranging from £589,950 – £1,724,950.

Stephen Kirwan, managing director of St George West London, said: "With many of our residents already moving into their new homes, the area is fast becoming a vibrant community, which will only be strengthened with the arrival of Kanada-Ya.

"We can't wait for our residents and visitors alike to enjoy the authentic ramen dishes available."
