The Ealing Half Marathon (EHM) returns for its 12th edition, kicking off in just 20 days on Sunday, 29 September.
Starting on Culmington Road, contestants will run 13 miles through Ealing and West Ealing and finish at Walpole Park as they have in previous years.
The marathon is expected to begin at 9am and the first finishers at around 10am. The prize presentation ceremony will begin at 11am and the race village will close at 1:30pm.
Since 2012, EHM has seen 40,000 finishers. Last year's male winner was Elias Ahmed from Ealing Southall & Middlesex Athletics Club, finishing in 1:10:32, while the female winner was Melissah Gibson from Ealing Eagles Running Club, with a time of 1:17:57.
Friends and families are welcome to watch at the Race Village in Walpole Park if they are not participating which opens at 7am.
Ealing Half Marathon team say: "As the dawn of a new autumn gently touches the streets of West London, the spirit of the Ealing Half Marathon stirs once more.
"In this Olympic year, our race takes on an even deeper resonance, as the echoes of Paris 2024 still reverberate in our hearts.
"The world has just witnessed the pinnacle of athletic excellence, where dreams were realised, records shattered, and history etched into the annals of time.
"Now, with that spirit still in the air, we gather to celebrate not just a race, but a legacy – one that connects us to the very essence of the Games."
Over the years, EHM has helped runners raise over £3.2 million for a huge number of various charities with this year's headline charity partners being Macmillan Cancer Support, Meadow House Hospice and Shooting Star Children's Hospices.
The Ealing Half Marathon is a running event held annually in the borough of Ealing, West London and has been voted the UK's best half marathon three years in a row.
