Big Green Street Party to launch in Ealing with council and mayoral funding
Sustainability organisation Parents for Future (PFF) West London has received funding from Ealing Council and Mayor of London to launch Big Green Street Party in Perivale.
PFF West London has received funding from Ealing Council, through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund provided by the Mayor of London, to host a family-friendly street party this September.
The event titled 'PFF's Big Green Street Party,' will take place on Saturday, 21 September, from 11am-4pm on Bilton Road, Perivale.
PPF West London say: "PFF's Big Green Street Party promises to be a vibrant celebration of community spirit, designed to bring together families, friends, and neighbours from across West London.
"This fun-filled event will offer a variety of entertainment, interactive and hands-on activities for all ages, fostering a sense of togetherness and shared commitment to building a greener, more sustainable future."
Big Green Street Party will feature local food, eco-friendly activities, and give residents the chance to learn more about "the importance of local action in combating climate change."
With an emphasis on sustainability and community engagement, this event is a unique opportunity for residents to connect, support local businesses, and explore innovative ideas that are making a positive impact both locally and globally, PFF say.
PFF aside, the event has been put on in collaboration with Friends of the Earth Ealing, Ealing Repair Café, Mums for Lungs, Ealing Transition, LAGER Can Ealing, Circular Economy Hub, Perivale Hive, London Doughnut Economy Coalition and others.
PFF West London add: "Whether you're coming for the entertainment, the food, or the chance to learn more about climate action and community organising, PFF's Big Green Street Party offers something for everyone.
"Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to celebrate all that makes our community special!"
