Emergency services have attended to a petrol spill in South Ealing following a collision between a motorbike and a car.

A small motorbike and Mercedes-Benz car crashed on South Ealing Road opposite the Co-op Store at around 10am this morning (Thursday, June 9).

The bodywork of the car sustained significant damage and the impact of the collision caused the motorbike petrol tank to spill oil onto South Ealing Road.

Metropolitan police officers attended the scene along with the Fire Brigade who tackled the spill with sand.

There have been no reports of injuries sustained by the drivers of either vehicle.
