Police officers in Ealing got their daily steps in yesterday (Tuesday, May 24) when a street patrol became a hot pursuit.

Officers in the West Area Violence Suppression Unit (VSU) were on a routine patrol in Rectory Park, Northolt, when a man made a getaway on a bike.

After what Ealing Police called a "short(ish)" foot chase, the man was detained and found to have multiple wraps of drugs and cash.

He was arrested for possession with intent to supply and taken into custody.
