The Met Police confirm that a man has appeared in court after the death of a 47-year-old during a collision on Monday, 27 January 2025.

Kamil Rouibah, 25, of Squirrel Rise, Marlow Bottom, appeared in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on today (Tuesday, 28 January).

He faces charges of causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.

Rouibah is scheduled to appear next at Isleworth Crown Court on Tuesday, 25 February.

A second man, also aged 25, who was arrested in connection with the collision has been released with no further action, The Met say.

This follows an incident at around 4:40am on Monday, 27 January when a BMW car was noticed by a patrolling police car due to the alleged speed at which it was traveling.

A short time later that same BMW was involved in a collision with another vehicle, a Ford Focus, being driven by the 47-year-old on Ruislip Road who was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers say the two occupants of the BMW were taken to the hospital for treatment and later discharged then arrested as mentioned above.
