The playground in Lamas Park, South Ealing, is looking in particular bad shape at the moment.

Local mum, Laura Begg, 36, is fed up with the authorities for their lack of work on repairing the playground.

She spoke to Nub News and said: "The state of the playground has always been quite bad, but since the weather got wetter, it's got so much worse.

"It's super slippery and muddy, it's just so dangerous for children."

The mum of two has sent numerous emails to the Council and her Ward Councillor, but hasn't received a reply.

"It's ridiculous, they just haven't bothered to reply at all, only via Twitter did I get a reply and all it said was that my complaint has been passed through to the relevant department."

Begg, who owns a dog walking company added: "The playground is always packed.

"Especially now with the second lockdown, there's nowhere else for the kids to play, but it's dirty and dangerous.

"According to an old lady who I met the other day, some of the slides have been there since the 70s.

"We can't just wait until one of our kids is hurt before the Council does something about this."
